Poon Hill Trek

Today I just got back from my 5 day trek. We walked over 30 miles averaging about 6 to 7 miles a day. Most of the trail was rocky and up and down stairs. I will provide a brief summary of each day and the beautiful and breathtaking pictures can do the rest of the talking.

Day 1. We walked about 7 miles mostly just on a gravel and dirt road. At the end of the day we walked up 3200 stairs and finally stopped to sleep.

Day 2. Mostly up and down stairs for about 5 miles until we reached Ghorepani, then we rest there for the night.

Day 3. This was the day where we woke up at 4:30am to hike up to Poon Hill, we got spectacular views and then returned back at around 7 for breakfast. then we walked another 5 miles that day.

Day 4. It rained a lot on day 4. We walked up and down A LOT of stairs for about 6 hours and then we reached Tolka where we stayed the final night.

Day 5. Today. We walked for about 4 hours, had lunch then walked down stairs for about 1 hour then reached our pick up point.
